PlayPlay allows you, as a user or decision-maker within your company, to access an activity dashboard regarding how you or your team use the platform.
Depending on the subscription you have chosen, you also have the option to access an advanced version of the activity dashboard.
To access the activity report :
- Go to the home page.
- Click on the Team Settings category in the left menu.
- Select the Activity Dashboard tab.
You will find:
- The number of videos created on a rolling monthly basis, with a comparison to the previous month and a percentage change indication.
- The total cumulative minutes of videos generated on a rolling monthly basis, with a comparison to the previous month and a percentage change indication.
-
The means of distribution:
- In the graph, the sum of projects may exceed 100% for the given period, as a project can be both downloaded and embedded elsewhere or associated with a landing page, etc.
- We count the number of occurrences of each distribution action performed during the month.
- The environmental impact of your PlayPlay videos, more information available here.
- All displayed data is aggregated at the team level on a rolling monthly basis (last 30 days):
- A project is included in our calculation from its first generation in HD to filter out draft projects that are still in the editing process.
- We consider only the initial generation; if a project is regenerated, it is not counted twice in the data.
-
Here's how we keep track of how often team members distribute content within the chosen time frame (usually the past month for our basic plan):
-
Let's say User A downloads their Project X five times in a single day, and User B adds two more downloads to it. We count a total of seven downloads. If Project X gets downloaded again the next day, we add one more to the count, making it eight. If someone downloads a new project, like Project Y, that's counted as nine, and so on.
-
If Project X is also embedded somewhere, we count that as one embed.
