How do I insert subscripts or superscripts in my text?

PlayPlay enables you to insert special characters such as subscripts and superscripts into your text.

1. Make sure to have a compatible font

🚨 Not all fonts have these special characters integrated. To find out:

  • Go to this free website.

  • Upload your font file in the dedicated space.

  • Scroll down and make sure the special character appears.

For example, PlayPlay's default font (Proxima Nova Bold) has several basic subscripts and superscripts such as ² or ₂.

 

2. Copy and paste subscript or superscript

👉 For a subscript:

  • Go to this free generator.

  • Type the subscript number or letter you need (on the left).

  • Copy the subscript (on the right), and paste it into your text block on PlayPlay.

  • Subscripts or superscripts that have been copied and pasted directly from the Internet may not be displayed, even though your font should allow it. Use the free websites recommended above by typing in the special character you are looking for.
