What do I do if my text does not show up on the screen?

How do roles work?

 

You’ve added text to your project, but it doesn’t show up on one or more screens. This usually happens when your text color blends into the background : 

 
 

1. The text color matches the background

By default, your text is white. If your background is also light, it might not be visible.

To fix this:

  • Change your screen primary color in the Settings of the screen :

2. Your primary branding color is the same as your text

If the primary color defined in your Branding is the same as the one used for your backgrounds, your text might not be visible.

In this case:

  • adjust your primary color in the Branding tab to create more contrast :

Then preview your project to make sure the text is visible.
