PlayPlay lets you view engagement data for your videos, but only for those you have embedded into a website or your landing pages.

To do this:

  • Go to the My Videos page.
  • Click on the "Engagement Insights" tab.

You will have access to a list of all videos shared outside of PlayPlay, whether through a landing page or embedded video.

For each project, you will find:

  • Its status that indicates whether it's a project published via integration or broadcasting page, and whether it's currently online (green) or not (red).
  • The publication date that indicates when the video was made accessible to the public. The number of impressions, denoting how many times the video appeared on viewers' screens, is measured when they visit the page where the video is hosted.
  • The number of views that represents how many times viewers played the video. The click-through rate is expressed as a percentage (views/impressions), measuring how often viewers clicked on the video relative to the number of impressions.
  • The number of clicks on the clickable link at the end of the video, if configured, that indicates how many times viewers clicked on the specified link.
  • The conversion rate that is expressed as a percentage (clicks/views), representing the proportion of viewers who clicked on the link relative to the total number of video views.

This view allows users to compare their different projects visually, and a sorting feature enables them to display which videos are the most and least performing quickly.

  • 🚨 A new in-house tracking system for views has been implemented starting in September:
    • Unfortunately, viewing data for videos published before this date could not be retrieved, meaning that views recorded before the deployment of the new system are not displayed.
    • For projects created before September, only views since the implementation of the new tracking system are counted. If they are at 0, it indicates that no new views have occurred since the change.
    • Projects created after the implementation of the system have comprehensive view data, covering the entire viewership for these projects.
    • This situation does not affect impression and click data, which has been consistently tracked and is complete for all projects, even those created before September.
  • You can't access engagement data for the share link of a video.
  • On the homepage in the Latest Videos section or the My Videos tab, you can view the number of views for shared videos using an eye symbol.

  • By clicking on the eye symbol, you will be redirected to the "Engagement Insights" tab.

  • By clicking on the Edit button in the Engagement Insights tab, you can quickly access the settings for your embedded videos or landing pages.

  • Private videos, published via embed or a landing page, will appear in the list, but they will only be visible to the owners of these projects.
