You can create a GIF from your PlayPlay video by selecting the desired clip and downloading it in .GIF format to your computer. You must first have generated your PlayPlay in HD before being able to export it to GIF format.
To turn the selected video segment into a GIF:
- Launch the Preview of your PlayPlay, then the HD generation.
- Click on GIF.
- Select the segment of the video you wish to convert into a GIF by choosing the start and end points in the trim window.
- Choose the resolution (from 360 to 1080p) and the smoothness (from Low to Very High) of your GIF.
-
Click on Download to save your GIF to your computer.
- You must first have generated your PlayPlay in HD before you can export it in GIF format.
- If you make any changes to your video, make sure to generate it again in HD so that your GIF contains your latest modifications.
- Higher resolution and smoothness improve GIF quality, but they also increase the size of the output file (which may not be suitable for your communication channel: newsletter, e-mail, social networks, etc.). If necessary, you can reduce the size of your GIF before using it.
- GIF files have no sound. If your PlayPlay video contains sound/music, the file you create will not contain sound.
- You can only choose a video clip of up to 2 minutes to create a GIF.
- Once downloaded, the GIF will be automatically saved in your computer's download folder, along with the name of the project and the resolution and smoothness settings you have selected.
