PlayPlay allows you to manage the speed of the video files you import into your projects.
To change the speed of your video media, follow these steps:
-
Once you have added media to a screen, click on the edit button (✏️)
-
From your media settings, click on the Speed tab.
-
Choose from one of the 6 default speeds:
- x0.5 ➡️ To create a "slow-motion" effect with significantly reduced speed.
- x1 ➡️ To maintain the normal speed of the video.
- x1.1 to x2 ➡️ To achieve a slight acceleration.
- x4 ➡️ To create a "timelapse" effect with greatly accelerated speed.
- You can also manually enter a speed of your choice up to one-tenth precision, on the far right, which must be between x0.3 and x4.
-
Don't forget to save, and you're done!
- You can adjust the speed of a stock video media.
- You cannot change the speed of a GIF; therefore, the feature tab will not be accessible.
- The sound of your media is adjusted based on the new speed you have selected.
- The Safari browser may encounter difficulties when applying speeds lower than x0.5 or higher than x2. If this occurs, a warning message will be displayed.
