If you want to use media while editing your project, you’ll need to add it to the screens - either from your own library, the stock library, your asset library, or your favorites. Most screens allow you to add up to two media files.
To add a media to a screen
-
Start by selecting a screen that supports media (not all of them do). You can do this by clicking Add a screen, or the + button in the timeline - between two screens or at the end of your video.
-
Then, you have two options:
-
Hover over the example media thumbnail, click the three dots (Actions), then select Replace. You’ll be redirected to your project library to select the media you want to use and configure it before adding it.
-
-
- Go directly to the Library tab in the left-hand menu of your project, then drag and drop the media of your choice onto the desired thumbnail.
Note: To add a second media file, click the + button to the right of the first one. Some specific screen types, like Slideshow Pop, let you add over ten media files in a single screen.
-
Video files are limited to 15 minutes per screen. If your video is longer than 5 minutes, you’ll need to split it across several screens - for example, screen 1 for minutes 0–15, screen 2 for everything after that, and so on.
-
You cannot upload media files larger than 2 GB. To work around this, compress the file or split it into smaller parts using an external tool.
-
If you want to reuse a media file in another project without reimporting or searching for it again, add it to your Favorites in the media library.
-
If you add a second media file to a screen, your text will be displayed on both media files.
