How do roles work?

PlayPlay allows you to manage the speed of the video files you import into your projects.

To change the speed of your video media, follow these steps:

  • Once your video is added to a screen, click the three dots (Actions) on the media you want to edit, then select Edit to access its settings.

  • Choose from one of the 6 default speeds:

    • x0.5 ➡️ To create a "slow-motion" effect with significantly reduced speed.
    • x1 ➡️ To maintain the normal speed of the video.
    • x1.1 to x2 ➡️ To achieve a slight acceleration.
    • x4 ➡️ To create a "timelapse" effect with greatly accelerated speed.

  • You cannot change the speed of a GIF; therefore, the feature tab will not be accessible.
  • The sound of your media is adjusted based on the new speed you have selected.
  • The Safari browser may encounter difficulties when applying speeds lower than x0.5 or higher than x2. If this occurs, a warning message will be displayed.
