How do roles work?

You can customize the appearance and animation of a dynamic element directly from the screen where it appears, depending on the options available for the selected element type (text, media, shape, icon, etc.).

To customize a dynamic element:

  1. Open your project.

  2. Click on the screen containing the dynamic element you want to modify.

  3. Select the dynamic element in the preview.

  4. Use the available options in the editing panel.

1. Change the color and opacity

Depending on the selected element, you can change its color and its opacity level.

Opacity allows you to make the element more or less visible on the screen. This can be useful to integrate an element more discreetly or, on the contrary, to make it more visible in your video.

2. Change the element style

You can also change the visual style of certain dynamic elements.

The style corresponds to the element’s appearance, without taking its animation into account.

Depending on the chosen element, you can:

  • select another available style;

  • change the appearance of the background;

  • adjust the corner radius, if this option is available.

3. Change the animation

You can customize the animation of a dynamic element from the animation options.

Depending on the selected element, you can modify:

  • its entrance animation, that is, how it appears on the screen;

  • its exit animation, that is, how it disappears;

  • the duration of the animation.

Note: The shorter the duration of the entrance or exit animation, the faster the element appears or disappears. The longer it is, the more gradual the appearance or disappearance.

  • Customization options may vary depending on the type of dynamic element selected: text, media, shape, icon, etc.

  • Some elements offer an "automatic" option. This corresponds to the default animation provided for the selected style (notably elements of the "shapes" type).

  • Some families of dynamic elements may not offer all customization options.
