You can add one or several media over the content of your screens at a given moment in your video. It can be images (pictures, illustrations, or logos), videos or GIFs, for instance.
You can add them anywhere on the screen and choose when they appear and the duration for which they appear and also change their position, size, and rotation. Here's how you can do that!
To add a dynamic media to your screen:
-
Go to the screen of your choice, open the Elements tab, and click Add media.
- You can upload a new media to use as a dynamic element, or choose from your already uploaded media, the asset library, the stock library, or your favorites.
-
Once you’ve chosen your media, click its thumbnail to add it to your screen.
- If your dynamic media is a video : by clicking Edit, an editing panel opens and allows you to trim your video, adjust its playback speed, crop the video, and apply filters.
- If your dynamic media is an image : by clicking Edit, an editing panel opens and allows you to crop the image, and apply filters.
- As with all dynamic elements, you can then set its duration and when it appears.
- Then, you can customize it:
-
- Change its animation:
-
- Change its position, size, and rotation directly in the project preview:
-
Dynamic video elements:
- They are by default in mute mode and it's not possible to activate their audio.
-
- Their duration is predefined and cannot be extended. For example, if a dynamic video element lasts for 5 seconds, then it won't be possible to go beyond this duration.
-
- You can reopen the editing panel at any time by clicking Edit to trim the video or adjust its settings (you can also trim the element directly from the timeline).
-
Dynamic GIF elements:
- Extending their duration beyond the original will result in a loop.
There are so many ways you can use dynamic images:
|
Pictures |
Illustrations |
Logos |
|
You can add pictures of your employees, your products, your events... You can place one in a corner of the screen to illustrate an interview or lots of pictures one over the other, progressively covering all the screen! |
Another use you can make of dynamic images is to add illustrations. It can be a graphic, an icon, an infographic, a drawing... The pro tip is to use illustrations with a transparent background, to have a clean and harmonious look. |
Dynamic images are a great way to display your logo with more flexibility. Not only can you insert it wherever you want on the screen, but you can also add several logos at the same time. Handy for presenting your partners or customers. |
