How do roles work?

On PlayPlay, you can easily remove the parts of a video you don’t need, such as pauses, hesitations, or repeated sections in your interviews.

Once your media is added to the screen:

  • Click on the three dots (Actions) of the media you want to edit, then select Edit.

  • The Trim tab will automatically open: click on the timeline to add a Split point (scissors icon), then drag the handles below the preview to select the parts to keep in purple, while the removed sections appear in grey.

  • You can cut as many segments as you need. Place the cursor on a section you kept and click the scissors icon again to create more cuts.

Note: All the segments you keep will be combined as a single media item on your screen, and the removed parts won’t appear in your PlayPlay video.
