How do roles work?

PlayPlay allows you to create a video asset featuring a highly realistic animated avatar by selecting its appearance, choosing a voice, and writing the script to be spoken, all powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

To do this, in your project:

  • Click the Generate AI Avatar button.

  • In the Avatar selection tab, choose your avatar’s appearance (male or female), as well as its posture or framing (depending on available options).

Note: For some avatars, you can customize the background color using the colors from your branding, when available.

  • In the Voice management tab:
    • Select the language in which your text will be written.
    • Choose the voice (male or female) that best suits you from the various options. You can click on the symbol Capture d’écran 2024-01-03 à 10.40.26.png to the left of the first names to listen to a brief audio sample to get an idea of the sound of the voices.
    • Then, enter the text you’d like the avatar to speak.

  • Add the video media to your project’s media library and wait a few moments for the upload to complete.

  • The transcript is limited to 5,000 characters, which corresponds to approximately 4 minutes of video.
  • Your text must be clear and respectful. Please avoid any inappropriate content. To learn more, check out our provider’s moderation policy available here.
  • Avatars cannot be customized: it is not possible to change their appearance (clothing, hairstyle, background, etc.).

  • Enhance your screen by adding dynamic elements (text, images, videos, shapes, etc.) to illustrate or emphasize the avatar’s speech.
  • If you’d like to shift the avatar to the left or right of the screen, you can apply a crop, just note that this may result in a slight loss of quality compared to the original media.
