How do roles work?

 

You can record a voice-over directly in PlayPlay and add it to your video.

Here's how: 

  • In the left-hand menu, open the Audio section, then go to the Voice-over tab. Click Record a voice-over, then Start recording button — wait for the 3-second countdown to finish — then start speaking into your microphone.

Note: You can record multiple voice-overs for the same video. Just record each one, then add them to your project.

  • Once your recording is complete, it will automatically be added to your video.

  • Voice-overs added to your video will appear in the Added section. All your imported, recorded, or AI-generated files will appear under Audio Files.

Once added to your video, a voice-over can be trimmed, moved, or deleted.

  • It’s not possible to record a voice-over that’s shorter than one second.

  • If your voice-over is longer than your video, only part of it will be heard. For example, if the voice-over is 45 seconds long but the video is 30 seconds, only the first 30 seconds will play.
