How do roles work?

PlayPlay Stock gives you access to thousands of images, videos, and illustrations to create your project. Pour find a media in the stock, you can use :

1. Search filters :

  • Go to the Stock tab in the library, within one of the stock categories: photos, videos, illustrations, or GIFs.
  • Click the filters icon to the right of the search bar.
  • Choose the filters you want to apply: geographic areas, format, color, etc.
  • A purple bubble will appear on the filter icon to show how many filtersare currently active.

Here are the available options:

  • Editorial : enable this filter to display content related to real-life events (news, public figures,  etc.).
⚠️ This content is generally for editorial use only, not commercial use.

  • Geographic areas : useful if you’re looking for a specific location or regional context (e.g., “Asia,” “Africa,” “Europe”).

  • Format : select the orientation of the media (landscape, portrait, square) based on your video format.

  • People : filter by the number of people, age, diversity, etc.

  • Dominant color : ideal for matching your visuals with your branding.

2. Search suggestions

  • Below the search bar, you’ll find suggestions. These are keywords similar to the ones you searched for. They help refine your search and find the perfect media.

  • Simply click on a keyword to start a new search.

  • If you don’t find what you’re looking for right away, try varying your keywords.

  • Type your keywords in English, as most media libraries are English-based.

  • Be specific: choose “office meeting” rather than “business”.

  • Test multiple terms: synonyms, singular/plural, different phrases.

  • For videos, consider describing actions or situations (e.g., “people clapping,” “walking in office”).

  • Search filters may vary depending on the type of media you’re looking for :
