PlayPlay enables you to write text that will be turned into natural-sounding speech using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
To do this, in your project:
- Go to the Audio tab in the left menu and click on the Voice-over tab.
- Click on the Generate AI Voice button.
- Select the language in which your text will be written.
- Choose the voice (male or female) that best suits you from the various options. You can click on the symbol
to the left of the first names to listen to a brief audio sample to get an idea of the sound of the voices.
- Type the text you want to turn into a synthetic voice-over, then listen to the audio output to make any necessary adjustments.
- Add the AI voice-over to your project, and there you go!
You can then use the dedicated editor to manage, trim, move, or delete your AI voice-over just like a traditional voice-over.
- Place the cursor at the desired location on the timeline, located to the right, to determine the exact spot for the audio insertion in the video. It will be integrated precisely where the cursor is positioned.
- If the total duration of the AI voice-over is longer than the total duration of the PlayPlay video, then only part of the voice-over will be audible.
Example: If the AI voice-over lasts 45 seconds and the video is 30 seconds, then only the first 30 seconds of the AI voice-over will be heard.
- We recommend transcribing some words phonetically according to their desired pronunciation rather than their conventional spelling.
- We provide all the languages available in Microsoft Azure or ElevenLabs technology. Please find the list here if you are looking for a specific language.
