After adding music to your video, you can either trim it to keep only a portion or split it into multiple segments.
1. Trimming music

Go to the audio track in the central timeline.

In the timeline, drag the edges of the track to keep only the desired section:

Drag the left edge to the right to trim the beginning,

Drag the right edge to the left to trim the end.

2. Splitting music
You can also split the track into two (or several) separate segments. Just position the cursor at the exact point where you want to cut, then click the Split scissors icon.
